If I give up
the time that all these people invested
on rise me with light brought from the Sun
the water of the almost dry channels on Mexico City,
with the public schools uniforms
with the brands that came all from the Coca Cola Company and the national products from the Markets of the neighborhood and the really good 
always really good meals of my grandma !
if I give up all my front porch signing lessons after school lead by my very infamous talented Aunt Ana 
if I give up all my queer acts that embarrassed both of my brothers with the kids around the block,
If I give up all the progressive concepts that my single mother thought me for the moment when I reach the future
If I give up how it makes me feel the touch of my first love
If I give up all my things
If I give up all my happiness and let this no reliable reality get on me and let the cruel present to get into my brain and makes me believe that all is my fault 
Then I will be a real failure of the system.
