Prior to the monkeys

am observing our bodies
embracing each other so genteelly
and harmonically
as usual right behind us
this pretty open sky always so hard to describe when you look at me this way
neat in texture
with is intense line of deep red color
over the horizon
showering the preamble
with a romantic set of endlessness
some how defensive against the dryness of the ecosystem we are standing on
in a peculiar way this evening
you are enjoying the slow waves of wind dancing over our shoulders
whispering words, verbs, and nick names we may never find in our dictionaries
I can feel the caress of your right hand over and along the way on my back towards my legs
"your hips are the corner of the world to me"
to me
to me
to me this most be somebody's place
and I am honored to live in here even for a second
We are kissing
and while this happen I can see a tribe of monkeys stomping toward us...
