You find the way (not me)

I am going after you
like a voiceless witness of a mother
loosing her only daughter
in the middle of the spring
I am going after you
running insatiable like a lost dog
after the walk in the park
in the middle of the fog
on an interstate
tired but running
desperate to find the end of the road
in the same position of a child watching the door closing
ahead of a good bye from its parents in summer camp
relief but angry
I am going after you
like that word that you cannot mention
deliver or articulate
just because

I am going after you
like a maniac
with a dress full of blood and skin headed
like a character of independent films
over and over again,

I am going after you
cool like the wind by your window
and the bird dying underneath its balcony
in silence
innocent
small
almost imperceptible
but constant
like a dream mess up with adulthood
and loneliness
with sad pets and foreign kids
that soon or later will like to meet their real parents,

I am going after you
sick
and free
like a young man seriously ill and wounded on a dusty land
where after a heavy rain fire is born
where the winter looks like a bunch of abandoned factories on a postwar postcard,

I am going after you
like a 25 cents coin looks
on a new pair of hands
after being drop loose in a gesture of charity
cold and shiny
smith from head to toe
just to keep running after you
like the universe runs when a jerk try to explain its beginning,

I am going after you
like the song of a death singer
in your memories
in your day by day
in your future
I will be there

...and right when you thing I am part of the past...

You will be bringing me
over and over to the table
to the bed
to the garden
to the square
to the glass of wine
to the river
to the beach
to the hotel
to the studio and to your work
I am going after you
like never before
I am going after you
like the way I used to go

I will be going after you
like if someone is after me
fast and brave to find peace in my heart and certainty on my soul.
